Two persons arrested for breaking regulations in St. Kitts

The VONNEWSLINE has received reports that two (2) individuals were arrested on Wednesday, April 1st, during the “Total Lockdown” here in St. Kitts and Nevis.

 

According to videos and pictures on social media, the individuals were Chinese nationals, who apparently operate a supermarket in Basseterre, St. Kitts.

 

In light of the current “Lockdown”, no establishments are permitted to operate.

 

Only Essential Workers such as Police Officers, Fire Officers, Nurses and Doctors as well as Media Workers are permitted to carry out their duties.
