During his contribution to the ongoing Budget Debate, Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Minister of Education et.a, Dr. Geoffrey Hanley announced plans to rename one primary school and one secondary school in St. Kitts after persons who have contributed to the development of the respective schools.
According to the Minister, the decisions were made after considering a number of submissions and the renaming will take effect in 2024.
He spoke on the importance of honoring such persons in the most impactful way possible and also during their lifetime where they could witness the appreciation.
