USVI Senator pays tribute to Nevis’ Former Premier – the late Vance Amory 

Tributes have continued to pour in for the late former Premier of Nevis, Ambassador His Excellency – Vance Amory, following his sudden passing. 

 

Mr. Amory passed away in the UK at the age of 72 years, on Saturday April 2nd, following a battle with a terminal illness. 

 

This time, a tribute came from USVI’s Senator – Javan James. 

 

In a release to the VONNEWSLINE, he said “St. Kitts and Nevis is mourning the loss of a great man. Former Premier – Vance Amory was a person of intelligence, resourcefulness, determination and service. I am sure we all feel this loss deeply… 

 

Mr. Amory’s greatness can be heard of both far and wide. He organized a political party, the Concerned Citizens Movement and within 5 years he was determined to serve as Premier of Nevis.” 

 

In closing, on behalf of the Legislature of the U.S. Virgin Islands, he extended “sincerest condolences to the family, friends, co-workers and supporters of Former Premier Vance Amory”.
