VON Radio was among regional media houses represented at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank’s (ECCB) two-day Communications Workshop for ECCU Media Practitioners, held from March 26^th to 27^th, at the ECCB Headquarters in Bird Rock, St. Kitts.

The workshop, under the theme “Connect, Engage, Align: Optimizing Central Banking Communication and Strengthening Partnerships,” brought together journalists, announcers, producers and information officers from across the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union.

One representative for VON Radio participated in sessions aimed at strengthening economic reporting, public communication and regional media partnerships.

Over the two days, participants received presentations on monetary policy, currency management, digital payments modernization, reserve management, data storytelling, and reporting central banking and economic news.

The final day also featured an open dialogue with senior ECCB officials on financial inclusion, the EC dollar peg, and the future of regional financial communication.
