The Voice Of Nevis (VON) Radio is in celebratory mode as (today) June 18th 2024, marks a new milestone for the station and is now 36.

A historical event occurred when the station opened its doors to serve the public on June 18th1988, being Nevis’ first radio station.

The station was founded by BVI Nevisian resident, the late Mr. Merritt Herbert. With its motto “Only THE BEST will do”, through the years, VON Radio dubbed: “the Caribbean’s Powerhouse” has stood tall throughout the test of time.

VON Radio’s General Manager, Mr. Evered “Webbo” Herbert remains at the helm of the station as VON continues to provide the general public with reliable service through its news, programs (talk shows etc.), death announcements and more.
