In efforts to provide better and more reliable service to the general public, M&M Transportation has made an addition to its ferry fleet.

The organization which operates from Basseterre-St. Kitts, has added the “Waterman”, which will make rounds between the Basseterre Ferry Terminal and the Charlestown Port.

The new boat will have a capacity of 46 passengers and will join the MV Caribe Express. Previous vessels would have included: the MV Caribe Breeze, Caribe Surf and Caribe Sun.

According to Captain Prince Mills, plans are ongoing to begin services between St. Kitts and St. Eustasius (Statia) on Wednesdays and Sundays. The price for trips are expected to remain the same as its sister ferry, Caribe Express.
