World Water Day was celebrated on Saturday March 22^nd, 2025. Nevis’ Minister of Water Services, the Hon. Spencer Brand spoke on this year’s theme: “Glacier Preservation”:

 He urged individuals, groups and businesses to take appropriate steps to preserve our glaciers and promote water sustainability, such as: education on the impacts of climate change, supporting policies that support climate action and advocate for positive change as wells as changing habits that waste water.
