West Bourne Street accident leaves one woman injured

An accident occurred at the top of West Bourne Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts and has left one woman injured.

 

 

 

On Friday July 21st, between 10:30am and 11am, Randolph Belle of La (say greet) Guerite, who was the driver of motor jeep P – 319, was travelling from west.

 

 

 

He made a right turn down into West Bourne Street and collided with a pedestrian, Ms. Sherie Simmonds of College Housing.

 

 

 

Ms. Simmonds complained of pain in her right leg and was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital by EMS for treatment.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, an autopsy was performed on the body of SKN’s 4th Road Fatality victim on July 14th. On July 1st, 21-year-old Joneal Shakeem Sprouse of Middle Island, St. Kitts, lost control of his motor car in the vicinity of the solar farm on the Frigate Bay Road.

 

 

 

He was thrown from the vehicle on impact with the farm’s fencing and suffered significant trauma to the head. He succumbed to his injuries on July 3rd. Resident Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nuñez, concluded that due to severe head trauma and extensive subdural hematoma as a result of a motor vehicular accident.
