What are the secrets of an enhanced life?

How can I have an enhanced life, or in other words, lengthen my days?

That rhetorical question was put forth by Nurse Roxanna Brookes. During the “Facts for Life” program on Sunday Oct 12th, she mentioned this important information:

 

 

Additionally, she spoke of Jeanne (say karma) Calment, who was born in 1875, a supercentenarian and whose documented lifespan of 122 years and 164 days made her the oldest person in recent history:

The “Mediterranean diet” is a plant-based eating pattern, emphasizing vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, and olive oil. It includes fish and poultry in moderation, limited amounts of dairy and red meat. In addition to diet, Ms. Calment, prayed every day to God (mental and spiritual) and did her exercise (physical activity). “Facts for Life” is aired on VON Radio every Sunday at 6pm.
