What is the status of the Four Seasons employment and the number of guests at the Resort?

Given the recent reopening of the Federation’s borders (on October 31st), St. Kitts and Nevis saw the arrival of flights from American Airlines and Seaborne, at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport.

The Four Seasons Resort – Nevis, announced in October, that it was reopening on November 1st and would be open for reservations as of Saturday, November 7th, 2020.

In spite of the development, the VONNEWSLINE inquired of the employment capacity vs. visitor capacity the Resort has since its reopening.

The Four Seasons Resort – Nevis, terminated 280 of its employees in October 2020.

According to a letter issued to the employees, at the time “due to…the resulting loss of business … we have no other option but to continue restructuring our operation. To that end, the level of occupancy currently on the books for the next several months will allow us to call back only minimum staff members necessary to support significantly reduced occupancy levels.”

The VONNEWSLINE reached out to the General Manager of the Four Seasons Resort, but to no avail.  The question of “What is the status of the Four Seasons employment and the number of guests at the Resort?”, still remains.
