The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized the emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for children from ages 5 to 11 from October 29^th. SKN, upon receiving the first batch of Pfizer vaccines on Thursday, August 12^th, began administering the vaccine to children between the ages of 12 to 17 years. Thus far 12.3% of children between the aforementioned age group have received their first dose.
