Will civil servants in St. Kitts & Nevis receive a “double salary”? That question was posed to Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew. This was his response:

Furthermore, the Prime Minister told reporters during his Roundtable discussion on Nov. 25^th, that his Government is focused on investing in sectors:

Civil servants have not received the once-annual double salary since December 2022. The working population, however, has benefited over years from CBI Dividends (persons who pay Social Security received an extra EC $500), extra-month half salary for civil servants and earlier, for the first time, the JAD Cash-powered BBW (Budget Boost Wallet).

The question still stands: Will civil servants in St. Kitts & Nevis receive a double salary? Or will everyone receive a CBI Dividend?
