Winair expands regional network with connection between Barbados and St. Kitts

With the introduction of a new connection between Barbados (BGI) and St. Kitts (SKB), Winair has expanded its regional network.

The service, which operates three times per week, adds another option for travellers moving between the Eastern Caribbean islands.

The new route builds on Winair’s existing operations out of Barbados, where the airline already serves St. Maarten and Dominica. With the addition of St. Kitts and onward connections to the British Virgin Islands via St. Maarten—Barbados is now linked to four destinations within the carrier’s network.

The expansion also strengthens Winair’s operations in St. Kitts, where it now offers flights to St. Maarten, Dominica, Tortola and Barbados. In total, Winair operates around 20 weekly flights to and from St. Kitts.

Windward Islands Airways International N.V., better known as Winair, is a Government-owned regional airline founded in 1961. The airline operates a fleet of de Havilland Twin-Otter aircraft and multiple ATR aircraft.

For Nevis, Winair resumed daily direct flights between St. Maarten/St. Martin and the Vance W. Amory International Airport, as of Nov. 3rd 2025.
