Women Empowering Girls Programme: 28 successful women engaged female students of the Washington Archibald High School

That was the voice of Principal of the Washington Archibald High School, Joanne Sargeant.

 

Last Thursday, 28 successful women from various professions engaged 28 fifth form students of the Washington Archibald High School, St. Kitts in a motivational session.

 

 

This was part of the 4th installment of the ‘Women Empowering Girls Programme’.

 

According to the St. Kitts Department of Education, the mentoring session were held in a speed-dating style format, where by 28 mentors engaged 28 girls from the school. 

 

Students got the opportunity to receive advice from the female professionals.

Amongst the mentors were: Junior Minister for Youth Empowerment et. al, Hon. Isalean Phillip,  Youth Officer in the Department of Youth Empowerment Kristen Hendrickson, Former and current pageant queens, and other women from various carrier backgrounds.

 

   

Mentor and CEO of the Dreamy Group of Companies – Ms. Natalie John gave this advice to the girls at one of the sessions:
