Work begins on long awaited St. Peters bus stop

Work has officially begun on the new bus stop for the St. Peters community, as “2024 is off to a great start”, according to PM and Parliamentary Representative, Dr. Terrance Drew.

 

 

 

This project is aimed at enhancing public transportation accessibility, ensuring convenience for residents, and promoting sustainable mobility.

 

 

 

Drew said “As we build towards a more connected and commuter-friendly community, your support and patience are truly appreciated. Stay tuned for updates on this transformative development”.

 

 

 

In more national news- As part of Cervical Cancer Awareness month, a free screening will be held on Saturday January 27th.

This will be put on by the Community Health Nursing Services and the HPU, both of which are part of the NIA.

Screening will be conducted at the Charlestown and Gingerland Health Centres.
