A number of Nurse Managers from across the federation were apart of a 2-day Leadership Workshop at the CUNA Conference Center in St. Kitts, geared towards developing leadership skills to better operate the country’s health sector.
The initiative saw more than thirty participants taking part in a range of sessions, discussions and strategies to manage positive change in healthcare. Present at the launch of the workshop was Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Hon. Terrance Drew who delivered remarks while thanking the healthcare providers for the pivotal service they provide on a daily basis.
He was quoted as saying: “Whether you are working on the front lines of a pandemic, providing comfort to patients and families during difficult times, or supporting your colleagues through challenging situations, you make a difference every day. I want to remind you that your work matters”.
