As part of celebrations for World Intellectual Property Day 2023, four women in St. Kitts and Nevis will be given the opportunity to have one of their trademarks registered for free by the Intellectual Property Office in St. Kitts and Nevis (IPOSKN).
This opportunity is the grand prize for a competition organized by the department. The typical cost for registration of a trademark in one class for ten years is EC$980. In addition, each winner will be assigned one of the IPO officers to help them draft the application.
To enter, persons are encouraged to post a video less than one minute long on Facebook outlining: 1. How innovation and creativity accelerated their brand. 2. Tag the Intellectual Property Office of SKN’s Facebook page. 3. Use the Hash Tag ‘WomenandIPSKN’ in the video caption and 4. Like the IPOSKN’s Facebook page.
