Youth Impact 12 awards are open for February and March. The Department of Youth – Nevis is asking individuals to nominate youths in the following areas:
“Youth in Technology”, the focus for February, seeks to highlight individuals who have made a breakthrough in technology, and use information technology to positively impact the community outside of personal interests. Nominations will close this Friday (January 24th).
For March, the focal area is “Sports Excellence”, seeking to recognize youths who have achieved an outstanding level of success in sports, displays sports leadership on and off the field and commits countless hours to training and development of sports. No nominations will be taken after Friday, February 21st, 2025.
To nominate an individual, visit the Department of Youth on the 2nd Floor of the Reliable Motors Complex, to collect, complete and submit a nomination form.
Additionally, Mr. Erleon David, of Jessup’s Village has been declared the awardee for January, for “Youth in Entrepreneurship”. He is the creator of Skyshun Digital, a business specializing in several areas of digital media.
