NIA “looking to cut some costs over the next few weeks”

This also comes as St. Kitts & Nevis, by extension the world, continues to grapple with the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.   

 

As of Monday Aug. 31st, there were over 25 million cases of the virus worldwide, which includes over 850,000 deaths and 17.8 million recoveries. 

 

Despite the impact the pandemic has caused, Premier Brantley added that the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) is not contemplating layoffs.
