As countries across the world join in the observance of the 16-day Campaign against Gender Based Violence, citizens and residents have been encouraged to be advocates and the voice against the social problem.
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, is annually observed from November 25th to December 10th, 2023. In the federation, the period will be used as a medium in raising awareness, fostering dialogue, and promoting actions that contribute to eradicating gender-based violence.
Monday November 27th, saw the Department of Gender Affairs on Nevis join counterparts in St. Kitts to unveil a mural, a physical emblem of the nations’ stance towards the issue.
