A total of twenty eight artists have registered for the Horsfords Nevis Center and VON Radio Song of the Year Competition.

The initiative allowed persons to submit an original song made for Culturama 50. The songs would then be placed on a platform online to allow members of the public to vote for their favourite piece.

The winner would be the person with the highest number of votes on August 6th, the culmination date of the summer festival and will receive a grand prize of $EC fifty hundred dollars.

The deadline for registration was Friday, June 28th and the public will soon have the opportunity to vote. Information will be disseminated accordingly.
