Last Thursday (February 4^th), St. Kitts and Nevis joined the rest of the world in observing World Cancer Day. 

This year’s theme was “I am and I Will”.

The Day is observed annually on February 4^th to raise awareness of Cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection and treatment. 

In light of World Cancer Day, the Federal Minister of Health, the Hon. Akilah Byron-Nisbett issued an address and provided this information:
