Nevis’ Minister of Culture, the Hon. Eric Evelyn. 

The cancellation of the Gingerama Festival joins a list of other Festivals and activities that were cancelled for 2020, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Culturama 2020 was also cancelled earlier this year. 

Mr. Evelyn, who is also the Chairman of the Gingerama Committee, in his statement on its status, said it would be unwise to hold the Festival:
