Republic of China (Taiwan) pledges a total of US $600,000 to assist St. Kitts and Nevis to procure Covid-19 Vaccines

She was speaking during the last National Emergency NEOC Briefing that took place on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021.
The pledge was made on the morning of January 6th by Taiwan’s Resident Ambassador – His Excellency Tom Lee during a visit to the Ministry of Health.
The government had already made a down payment to the COVID-19 Vaccine Global Access Facility (COVAX) Facility to make available enough vaccines to cover 20 percent of the population in the initial stages.
Donations previously made by the Republic of China (Taiwan) in the battle against COVID-19 include a variety of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the government such as Ventilators, N-95 facemasks, Thermal Camera Sets, Forehead Thermal guns, Protective clothing, Isolation Gowns and Testing machines.
