President of the East Line Bus Association gives update on “Peaceful Protest”

Bus operators at the East Line Bus Terminal in St. Kitts, ceased operations on Monday, March 15^th and took to Church Street in their numbers in a protest, regarding an ongoing situation at that Bus Terminal.

Additionally, a Senior Police Officer in St. Kitts told the VONNEWSLINE it was a “Peaceful Protest”.

Nonetheless, in speaking with the VONNEWSLINE on Friday, President of the East Side Bus Association – Jeff Pemberton mentioned the main reason for the protest:

The VONNEWSLINE asked Mr. Pemberton if there was “a race” among the bus drivers, regarding the previously stated.
