Proposals are being accepted by qualified persons or organisation for the development of three coral nurseries across designated areas within the St. Kitts and Nevis Marine Management Area SKN MMA. 

The installation of the coral reefs forms part of the Department of Marine Managements efforts to increase the biodiversity within the protected area and assist in determining the impact of land based resources of pollution on nearby coral reefs.  

Applicants are expected to explain how they will install 3 coral nurseries within the designated area, the SKN MMA, with an approved construction design by the Department of Marine Resources. Proposals should also include plans for monitoring of coral nurseries and reporting, and a capacity building and training component for primary stake holders.   

The expected duration of the project is 3 months, commencing from April 15^th to July 15^th 2022.
