Schools in SKN reopens (today) Monday, April 25th

Schools across the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis reopened (today) Monday April 25th beginning the 3rd term of the academic year 2021-2022.

In light of the current Covid-19 status in our Federation, the Federal Ministry of Education on the advice of the Ministry of Health has taken the decision to return to full-day instruction for all students enrolled in public schools.

Also, Federal Minister of Education, Hon. Jonel Powell announced an end to the shift system earlier this month that was adopted by the Ministry of Education to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 on the student population in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis more than a year ago.

This means that students will return to full time instruction.

Education officials have also urged all students to continue to abide by the established Covid-19 prevention protocols, such as hand-washing, wearing of masks etc.
