This was also part of measures the PM announced on Monday in his Labour Day address, which includes a 10% increase on wages, salaries, and pensions which shall be retroactive to January 2022 and expected to benefit over 9000 persons, duty-free allowance from May 1st to September 30th which allow households import up to 500 pounds of food items free of duty and tax, inter-alia.
