On Saturday May 14^th, 14 nurses and medical professionals were honoured as part of the 2022 week of activities celebrating nurses on Nevis.

During the Awards Gala, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health Mrs. Shelisa Martin-Clarke announced the awardees:

Nurses honoured, all of whom dedicated 15 years or more to the profession included Joya Walters, Jacqueline Glasford, Jacqueline Dore, Bernadette Jeffers and Ermin Jeffers.

Meanwhile, edical professionals honoured at the awards ceremony included: Ms. Miriam Freeman, Dr. Judy Nisbett, Ms. Patricia Flemming, Ms. Delicia Julius, Ms. Carolin Saunders and Mr. Keith Genflord Herbert.

Also in attendance was Premier of Nevis the Hon Mark Brantley, who presented the awards to the awardees, and Mrs. Brantley, Local Minster of Agriculture et al.  the Hon. Alexis Jeffers, as well as other government officials and medical personnel.
