Local Minister of Agriculture the Hon Alexis Jeffers has alluded to a possible trip to Tobago to explore the idea of potential trade between both islands.
This came after a delegation from Tobago visited Nevis on August 16th and 17th for similar reasons.
Minister Jeffers explains:
The three member delegation was led by Mrs. Nathisha Charles-Pantin, Secretary of the Division of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment and Sustainable Development in the Tobago House of Assembly.
Mrs. Charles-Pantin and her team visited the Botanical Gardens, the Cades Bay and Indian Castle Fruit Orchards and a number of local farms and agricultural producers.
