With just 84 days away, the St. Kitts and Nevis National Carnival dubbed SUGARMAS 51 will officially open its doors on Friday, December 2nd, 2022 with a month long of activities.

Chair of the St. Kitts-Nevis National Carnival, Shannon Hawley says that the return of all National Carnival Pageants, Panorama, Soca and Calypso Monarch, Jouvert, Junior Parade and the Grand Parade should remain on the Calendar of Activities.

Ms. Hawley stated that a number of troupes have already indicated their interests for the upcoming festival.

She said that the Calendar of Events will be made available to the public shortly after a series of stakeholder meetings that is planned during the month of September.

Minister of Culture, Hon. Samal Duggins has also pledged his full support for the year end celebration.

Activities will culminate on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023.
