“A zero-tolerance policy for all forms of domestic violence” has been expressed by the High Command of Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force.
This comes as on Friday December 16th, a video being circulated on social media was brought to the attention of Commissioner of Police Hilroy Brandy. In this video, a man is heard threatening a woman’s life. He made the utterances to both the woman and a juvenile. The threats made were very unsettling and the Commissioner immediately instructed Officers to move swiftly on the matter.
Consequently, as a result of the actions of the Officers charged to look into the matter, on Friday, 40-year-old Kelvin Taylor of Upper (say fines) Fiennes Avenue, St. Kitts, was arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Making Use of Threatening Language.
The offences occurred on November 28th and December 15th, respectively. He remains in Police custody.
