The Nevis Island Administration made an official investment into its sporting infrastructure on Thursday, January 12th, 2023 when a Track and Field Meet Management System was delivered to the Nevis Athletic Stadium also known as the ‘Mondo Track’ at Long Point.
The official ceremony included the presence of Junior Minister with responsibility for Education, Sports, et.al, Hon. Troy Liburd, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Kevin Barrett, Director of Sports, Mr. Jamir Claxton and Education Officer responsible for Sports, Mr. Garfield Virgo.
The system is said to cost over USD $20,000.00.
