Members of CCM party visit grave site of founder in memory of passing

Members of the Concerned Citizens Movement paid their respective to the late Founder of the political party and second Premier of Nevis, Ambassador Vance. W. Amory on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of his passing.

 

 

 

The contingent visited the resting place of Mr. Amory at the St. Georges Anglican Church Cemetery on Monday, April 3rd, 2023. Ambassador Amory passed away at the age of 72 on April 2nd, 2022 in the United Kingdom after battling a terminal illness.

 

 

 

The group of persons paying tribute included Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley, Deputy Premier, Hon. Eric Evelyn and Hon. Spencer Brand. According to a Facebook post by Premier Brantley, the attendees used the time as an opportunity to reflect on the contributions Mr. Amory made to Nevis and the wider federation. The laying of wreath and prayer were also administered at the graveside.
