During a discussion revolving around the Behavioral Health and Wellness
Center, formerly the Mental Health Unit here on Nevis, representative at the
center, Mr. McMillian Cuffy spoke on the reasoning for the recent
rebranding of the entity.

Mr. Cuffy spoke on the stigma of the society on terms affiliated with mental
health and persons who suffer from such issues. Such stigmas he said often
prevent persons from wanting to access the vital help needed to lead
healthier lives. Due to this factor, the decision was made to change the name
of the institution.
