Additionally, Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew, Senior Minister & Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Dr. Denzil Douglas and other government officials, met with representatives of major food suppliers and traders in St. Kitts and Nevis on Wednesday morning July 12th, in an effort to find solutions to reduce the cost of food in the supermarkets.
So far, the Federal Government has lowered corporate income tax, unincorporated business tax and reduced the excise tax on gasoline.
