The Alexandra Hospital has welcomed the additional of a qualified radiologist to its team.

This is according to Premier Hon. Mark Brantley. Dr. Kelsis Lecoy. Citizens and residents will now have access to the services provided by such medical doctors that specialize in diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases using medical imaging such as X-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, and ultrasounds.

Premier Brantley mentioned his pleasure in the development and that Dr. Lecoy’s presence should provide a decrease in the time take for doctors to receive radiological reports to diagnose and treat patients. He also said that this follows a number of new advances in the health sector inclusive on new services, machinery and initiatives
