Dec. 15th and 16th are Discounted Vat Rate Days in SKN, Duty Concessions to commence on Nov. 15th

Citizens and residents can expect the customary Discounted VAT Rate Days during the upcoming Christmas Season.

This is according to an announcement by Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew. The days will take place on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th December, 2023.

Furthermore, allowances have been made to non-commercial importers and travellers.

These include gift packages of “Foodstuff” allowed the first 400lbs free of duties and taxes. Non-commercial imports will also receive a duty-free allowance of EC $675 (US$250) off of the CIF Value and duty-free allowance will be applied to goods landing in the federation on November 15th 2023 to January 31st, 2024.
