During an address to the nation on the occasion of the New Year, Former Prime Minister and Leader of the People’s Labour Party (PLP), Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris called on the current administration to tackle the issue of crime in St. Kitts and Nevis with “credible plans” during 2024.

With the federation recording a total of 31 homicides during 2023, the representative for St. Christopher #7 said that new plans and/or strategies used during his tenure as leader should be put in place to prevent a surge in criminal activity this year.
