In an advisory from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the St. Kitts MET Office, the trough system, which is approaching SKN, is expected to move into our area through to (today) Thursday.
This trough will cause an increase in instability and is expected to lead to an increase in clouds and showers.
“Some of the showers could be moderate to heavy with possible isolated thunder during its passage. Over 2 inches of rain is possible during that time. Flood advisories may become necessary”, met officials said in the advisory.
