Body found at Warner Park: sudden death under investigation
In an update about a man’s body found at Warner Park, St. Kitts, police said the matter is under investigation and an autopsy will be conducted.
A press release says on Thursday May 23rd, officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) responded to a report of an unresponsive male at the earlier mentioned Park.
The man was shortly identified Hilton Nolan of Conaree, St. Kitts and laying on the ground in one of the spectator stands. Mr. Nolan, 69, bore no visible signs of trauma or traumatic injury. He was examined and pronounced deceased at the scene. An autopsy has been requested to determine the precise cause of death.
The Police Force has extended its condolences “to all who have been negatively impacted by this incident.”
Additionally, the Department of Sports-St. Kitts said in light of the incident it “is doing everything to accommodate the ongoing Police investigation, which is of the utmost importance. Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and all those affected.”
