Financial Information Month (FIM) 2024 is officially opened and the theme is “Financial Investing, from “Saving to Investing”, but the general theme is: “Financial Empowerment through Education”.

FIM is an initiative spearheaded by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB). Each year in October, the ECCB and partner institutions implement projects to educate the public about making good financial decisions. It is now called “FIM Festival” and ECCB’s Governor, Timothy Antoine, explains.

Throughout the month, there will be an Investment competition for college students, Investment symposium, Financial fairs, tips of financial literacy via social media, grassroots and media engagements, radio shows and quizzes among others.
