Government to Share Findings from 90-Day Crime & Violence Campaign

Citizen Security Secretariat (CSS) through the Federal Government, will host an event to present the results of the 90-Day Campaign against Crime and Violence. This was launched on Sep. 6th 2024 and has focused on addressing crime through a public health lens, aiming to reshape the nation’s approach to community safety and violence prevention.

The public engagement is scheduled for Thursday Dec. 5th, at the Solid Waste Management Corporation Conference Room, Taylor’s Range, St. Kitts, at 9:00 am.

Titled “Beyond the 90 Days”, the event signals the transition into the next phase of the national crime reduction strategy. Prime Minister and Minister of National Security and Health, Dr. Terrance Drew, will lead the session.

According to CSS, the final engagement of the 90-Day Campaign against Crime and Violence “serves as a platform for citizens and residents to contribute their voices to shaping the ongoing crime reduction strategies under the broader national theme “Citizen Security: Partnership for Safer Communities.”
