The Citizenship by Investment Programme of St. Kitts and Nevis, first established in 1984, and the oldest of its kind globally, transitioned from a government entity to a statutory body in late 2024. Following this move, for the months of October, November and December, there was a 169% increase in applications. Over 1000 new applications have been reviewed.
A press release by the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) stated “The substantial surge reflects renewed investor confidence in the programme’s efficiency, transparency, and global appeal.”
