Mr. Venrick Newton, Mr. Craig David and Mr. Ezekiel Parris have been recognized for exemplary service by the Ministry of Human Resources of the Nevis Island Administration (NIA).
The three men were awarded at the recent NIA Ministry of Human Resources 2025 Orientation Seminar.
Venrick Newton, a public servant for over two decades, received the Outstanding Messenger and Delivery Service Award, for his dedication to service. He is currently a Marine Field Assistant, in the Department of Marine Resources.
The Innovative Thinker Award was given to Craig David for his contributions in Information Technology (IT). David held various roles in this field, but is now the Information Technology Director of the NIA.
Finally, Ezekiel Parris, a public servant since 2004, earned the Ultimate Team Player Award. Parris, a systems technician, in the IT Department, of the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), was honored for “selfless service and reliability”.
The presentations of plaques and other gifts to the men were carried out by Premier of Nevis, Minister of Human Resources, the Hon. Mark Brantley, and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Human Resources, Mr. Kevin Barrett.
