The Violet O. Jeffers-Nicholls Primary School (VOJN) celebrated its 25^th Anniversary with a service of thanksgiving on Tuesday, 18^th February 2025 at the Combermere Methodist Church.

The school was opened on January 5^th, 2000, and is named in honor of retired educator, Mrs. Violet O Jeffers-Nicholls, who has made an indelible mark on education on Nevis.

 Minister of Education et al., Hon. Troy Liburd, Government Officials, Area Representative, Hon. Dr. Janice Daniel-Hodge, Education Officers, past and present principals, staff, parents, teachers and supporters were on hand to celebrate this milestone.

The Ministry of Education on Nevis congratulated the school on its achievements by saying “congratulations to the principal, staff and students of the VOJN Primary School on Nevis for achieving 25 years of excellence in education. Best wishes for your continued success”.
