According to information from the University of the West Indies-Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC), the quake took place at 2:24 am our time, occurring 142 km NNE of Basseterre and was located Latitude 18.52 degrees N, Longitude: 62.33 degrees W.
It struck at a depth of 10 km.
