NIA (Nevis Island Administration) recently hosted its 4th Annual Financial Management Workshop at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park, empowering young Nevisians with practical skills for financial independence.
This was spearheaded by Special Advisor to the Premier, Honourable Latoya Jones.
It brought together 32 participants aged 18 to 35, where attendees learned about budgeting, savings, investments, debt management, retirement planning and general wealth management, while also gaining practical tools to make informed financial decisions.
Acting Premier, Honorable Eric Evelyn, emphasized that the financial choices made at this stage can shape one’s future.
The workshop also formed part of the NIA’s commitment to equipping youth with the knowledge and skills needed for financial prudence.
