From the September 23^rd to 28^th, 2025, at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort, the 18th Annual Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Credit Union Summit brought together leaders, members, and stakeholders under the theme “One Vision, One Future: OECS Credit Unions Growing Together.”

The gathering reaffirmed the region’s commitment to a people-first financial model that has empowered communities for decades, often “stepping in where traditional financial institutions have hesitated”.

In a virtual address at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, underscored the importance of collaboration in confronting a “polycrisis” of climate change, inflation, and geopolitical instability, urging credit unions to lead regional resilience efforts.
