The much acclaimed BBW (Budget Boost Wallet) will expire on December 31st 2025, an advisory from the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis says.

Citizens are encouraged to use their remaining funds for purchases at participating institutions before that date, as all wallets will be deactivated after December 31^st, making unused funds unavailable. For more information, individuals may contact the Budget Boost support team at 467-1275.

BBW was a short-term financial relief for citizens and residents in St. Kitts & Nevis. It offered EC$250 monthly for six months (January to June) to individuals earning EC $5,000 or less in gross income per month.

The monies were used for essential expenses such as food, utilities, and mortgages through a secure, cashless platform powered by local digital service provider JAD.

Over 22,000 persons benefitted from the initiative totalling $EC 30m.
